Mike Jones was born January 6, 1981 in North Houston, TX. Jones was originally with the label Swishahouse, but left to start Ice Age Entertainment. Recently it was announced that Ice Age would be distributed, and that Mike Jones would return to his original label, Swishahouse. Jones has released 3 albums: 1st Round Draft Picks in 2003, Who is Mike Jones? in 2005, and The American Dream in 2007.

Jones has been involved in a disagreement with rapper Chamillionaire, a former Swisherhouse artist. Chamillionaire accused Jones of slander, and insults Jones over an entire disc in his album Mixtape Messiah. Recently Chamillionaire and Mike Jones began to resolve their disagreement, and have considered working together again.
