Sean Paul is described as a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist. Sean Paul’s first single was in 1996 and was titled “Baby Girl (Don’t Cry).” More Jamaican hits followed such as “Nah Get No Bly (One More Try)”, “Deport Them”, “Excite Me”, and “Strategy.” Sean Paul became popular in the United States with the single “Ladies Man.” His first spot on the billboard came with the song “Hot Gal Today”.

Sean Paul’s first album was released in 2000 as Stage One on VP records. In 2002 Sean Paul released his second album, Dutty Rock, with Billboard toppers such as “Gimme the Light” and “Get Busy.” Sean Paul has also lent his voice to other entertainers’ songs such as Beyonce’s single “Baby Boy.” In 2006 Sean Paul opened for Mariah Carey’s Adventures of Mimi Tour. Also in 2006 Sean Paul was working on his fourth album, which is soon to be released.
