Outkast Ringtones
OutKast is a hip-hop duo that consists of Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000, previously known as Dre), and Antwan Patton (Big Boi). Both artists are from the Atlanta area. They decided on the name "OutKast" because the music industry was dominated by east and west coast rappers during the duo's inception. OutKast signed with LaFace Records in 1992, and released their first single, "Player's Ball," in 1993.
OutKast has released 7 albums since 1994's Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. In 2003 the duo released a dual disc album called Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The album has since gone 11x Platinum (diamond), and peaked at #1 in the US. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below won a 2004 Grammy for Best Rap Album and was nominated for Album of the Year. The band has since released Idlewild in 2006.
