The Raconteurs Ringtones

The Raconteurs are a band comprised of members of previous musical projects. The bands members are Jack White (The White Stripes), Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence (The Greenhornes), Patrick Keeler (The Greenhornes), and Dean Fertita (The Waxwings, Queens of the Stone Age). Dean is only a member during live tours. The band was formed when White and Benson wrote "Steady, As She Goes." Keeler and Lawrence were added to the band, and they recorded in Detroit during 2005.

The band released Broken Boy Soldiers on May 15, 2006. The album reached #7 on the US charts, and #2 on the UK charts. The first single "Steady, As She Goes" reached #1 on the US Modern Rock chart. The album had three other singles: "Hands," "Broken Boy Soldier," and "Level." The Raconteurs plan to release a sophomore album in 2008.
