Pharrell Williams was born on April 5, 1973 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is a producer, singer, rapper, and songwriter. Pharrell is a member of the production duo called The Neptunes, and is the lead singer of the band N*E*R*D. Pharrell has been responsible for producing hit songs for various music artists in the industry. He has earned three Grammy Awards and has been nominated ten times for his work.

Pharrell released his first solo album in 2006 entitled In My Mind. The follow-up release due in 2007 is titled Out of My Mind. Pharrell is also rumored to be producing two of Madonna's songs in her upcoming 2007 release. He will also be performing in the Live Earths concerts, and event that reaches a global audience of over 2 billion people, on July 7th, 2007.
