Ludacris was born Christopher Brian Bridges on September 11, 1977 in Champaign, IL. Ludacris is a Grammy award-winning rap artist. He has also won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work in Crash and has appeared in several other movies. Ludacris was the first artist signed by Def Jam South records, and is also the founder of his own label, Disturbing Tha Peace Records.

Ludacris has released 5 solo albums. The first, Back for the First Time, was released in October of 2000. His most recent album was Release Therapy,, which came out in September of 2006. Release Therapy won a Grammy award for Album of the Year. Ludacris is scheduled to release his next album in 2007/2008.
